It has been two months since we last set down and spoke about wanting to have missions in Sarawak. During this time, we had an interesting two months planning for this trip and at the same time, enjoying ourselves with loads of fun and laughter. It was interesting to have all these meeting at various places. Here are some of the moments that was captured.

It was interesting to have our meetings in various places. We would gather in a circle and throw our ideas to see which or what we could do as a team.
Many times, I would sit there wondering and thinking, digesting all the facts and listening to each other view.
At times, the discussion began so long winded that I automatically go into sleep mode.
One of the interesting that we would do to keep awake was to do something. Being busy takes our mind of the sleepiness.
After much sitting down, there are times when we would stand just to get our butts of the floor.
There are times when we would even hide under the covers and pretend we are someone else.
The team simply loves to be on camera. We seem to love being photograph, even before we go to sleep.
Just for the fun at times, we just love to not be ourselves for a moment and express ourselves in the most hideous way we could ever imagine.
Food has been the major drawback of the team. We seem to be tempted by it. Its temptation its far greater that we can ever imagine as we tend to be eating all the time.
We can be seen at various places eating...
At times, we even forget to bathe before we eat. Flowing sweat and pungent body odour does not even deter us from gathering over a meal.
After much eating, we seem to be distracted by the sudden bulge that prostrate out. We reconcile and tell ourselves that we need to loose some weigh as we are going for mission. With that in mind, we decide to do a "some" workout, hoping to make up for what was lost.
However, the thought about loosing weight seems to leave our minds after we have step out of the parks and see ourselves committing ourselves into temptation. DIM SUM!
All in all, we enjoyed the company and fellowship over a meal.
Throughout the training, the guys seem to pay attention to what was happening. Either that or we were just blur.
On the other hand, the girls had their moments of what I would call a "Pig Lifestyle".
Despite our differences, we still accepted one another and continue with one focus in mind. Missions. To go and be a blessing to the Iban people.
Pastor Joanne, as cheeky as she may seem to be me...
...was gracious to have come down all the way from Malacca and encourage us with the Word. We even had a Holy Communion and the washing of each others feet. I would have to wash someone's feet...
...and be washed as well.
It was the idea of being a servant to one another. Helping others during this mission. There was no one who is better than each other. We would need to learn to complement one another so that we can achieve what we are going to go there for. It was also good to hear from those who went to Cambodia recently. Wee Liem shared to us some of his experiences there and encourage us as we prepared for the trip.
Besides that, we had to privilege to see one of our MMU seniors ordained as a pastor. It was a joy to see that many of us are going to different places where God wants to take us.
It was also good to see some old...I mean young faces when we attended Josephine's birthday.
I pray that as we prepared ourselves individually for this trip that God would see us through. Whatever expectations that we may have of the trip, I pray that I will surrender it to God and He will show what He has in store for us.
