Adidas Warehouse Sale

"Adidas Warehouse Sale". This was the advert I saw in The Star Metro which somehow caught my attention. I told my sis about it and she suggested we go and checked it out since she had been wanting to look for a shoe. With the help of a local resident of Shah Alam, Peak Yin we managed to find the place. We reached a little late as it was due to close in one and half hour time. There were many things that were interesting mainly the variety of shoes there. I had wanted to look for a pair of futsal shoes and was checking out the best bargain. However, I did not buy anything then as we heard that some new stocks were coming in the next day. We decided to call it a day and come back the following day, this time with additional sale enthusiast, Su Chen and Joash.

We decided to start out early so as to avoid the big crowd. As it was early, we decided to have breakfast before we went. Peak Yin suggested we try dry Bak Kut Teh. Dry Bak Kut Teh? What in the world was that? Out of curiosity and constant appetite, I decided to trust Peak Yin with her recommendation.

The art of pouring tea. Man, its a hassle just to pour a cup of drink, considering one need to wash the cups with tea and then pour into the smaller jar and then pour into the miniature cups that hardly quest one thirst.

The combination of the wet and dry Bak Kut Teh. After tasting both, the dry one rocks.

The early morning people who couldn't resist to start the day with something porky. Too bad Joash just miss the the picture.

After going through the madness, we decided to drive by Shah Alam and have a look at this place. We wanted to get a drink or probably a light snack.

After going through the town, we couldn't find a suitable place and decided to return to Peak Yin area instead for a drink.

This were some of the merchandise purchased at the warehouse sale.

I was tempted to get a lime green shoe but reconsider over the practicallity of it. I always had a thing for bright coloured stuff which some may consider ugly. Well, looking at the good one may thing i spend a bomb. I would if not for the sale as I managed to obtain this RM469.70 worth of goods for only RM184.80. I consider that a bargain. Hope to go for more warehouse sale in future because thats where you get good stuff without hurting your pocket. There was also a thought of going for warehouse trip one day.

I finally found out that Ipoh had an airport and according to them there were a couple of flights only from here.

Gopeng

This is perhaps one of the best "liu" I tasted. See the flat piece with dark ring. Its actually "chi yau cha" as in dried pork oil. Coolness. This is the famous place to eat "lai fan" or rice noodles.
