Pasar Ramadan

It's been almost a week since Ramadan had started. Our fellows Muslim friends go into a month of fasting. As dusk come, people congregrate at their respective homes to break fast and pray a thanks to God for sustaining them through the day. Food are applenty during this time of the month and pasar ramadan are set up almost everywhere. Thanks to Don igenious suggestion, my sis and I jump on the bandwagon to pay a visit to Ampangan for a taste.

And a taste we got as we went through the row of stalls line up under the shade to see which was the best looking stall that would satisfy our tastebuds. It was like we were on a fast as well as we jostle among the crowd that were there to buy food back to break fast. Everything was nice and we grab a few Malay delicacies that can only be available during this ramadan. What was even more surprising as to how food was sold off so very quickly. Thinking of coming back to the stall after going through every stall was a bad idea as by the time we came back, it was time to close shop and head back home. I was suprised how people respond to food. Buy, Buy them ALL! Such a good business that I don't even mind setting a stall myself.
